Ms. Suzanne Hassani is a Law Clerk at Shipkevich PLLC, supporting the firm’s partners and associates with various tasks.
Prior to joining Shipkevich PLLC as an associate in 2021, during law school Ms. Hassani served as a law clerk for Shipkevich PLLC, where she focused on developing her knowledge in the cryptocurrency space. In addition, Ms. Hassani served as the Editor-in-Chief for the American College of Trust and Estate (ACTEC) Law Journal, and worked as a student attorney with the Community and Economic Development clinic, where she represented clients with various business formation needs. Ms. Hassani’s active participation at her school while obtaining a legal education earned her the Distinguished Services to the School Award at graduation. Furthermore, Ms. Hassani’s team won first place in New York’s first Legal Innovation Tournament in 2021 hosted by the New York State Bar Association in partnership with Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. Ms. Hassani has also been published in New York Law Journal in a co-written article with a professor (“The GDPR: An Update and a Hope” published November 2019) and contributed to the New York State Bar Association’s Final Report of the Working Group on Attorney Mental Health (“The Impact, Legality, Use and Utility of Mental Disability Questions on the New York State Bar Application” published in November 2019).
Ms. Hassani earned her Juris Doctorate from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Sociology from Stony Brook University, State University of New York.
