Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Kurt Krautheim has a background in civil disputes of all types, with particular experience in construction, fraud, contract, and business litigation. Kurt also brings his experience to Shipkevich PLLC by expanding its Fintech practice in regulatory work concerning Fintech companies, virtual currency, and ICO offerings based in Switzerland and other European jurisdictions.

He is admitted to practice law in both state and federal courts in New York and practices as a foreign legal consultant in Zürich, Switzerland.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Krautheim worked for a complex litigation firm, assisting with class actions and commercial disputes in state and federal courts in New York, New Jersey, California, and Florida.
In his life prior to becoming a lawyer, Kurt served as adjunct professor of classical piano at a Florida college.
