Commercial & Business Litigation
When disputes arise, financial services and fintech companies need litigators who understand both the courtroom and the regulatory backdrop against which their disputes play out. Shipkevich PLLC represents clients in commercial and business litigation, with particular strength in matters connected to the financial services, payments, and digital asset industries the firm knows well.
We handle contract and commercial disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, disputes between financial companies and their counterparties or service providers, and litigation that grows out of regulatory or enforcement events. Our familiarity with the underlying regulation often shapes strategy in ways a general-practice litigator can miss — because in this industry, the business dispute and the regulatory exposure are frequently the same problem viewed from two angles.
Commercial and contract disputes. We represent clients in breach-of-contract claims, vendor and partner disputes, and the payment-processing and service-provider conflicts that are common in this sector.
Financial services and industry disputes. We handle disputes that turn on the rules governing regulated businesses, including those with a regulatory or enforcement dimension running alongside the civil claims.
Resolution strategy. We pursue resolution through litigation, arbitration, or negotiation, always with an eye to the regulatory and reputational consequences a financial services client cannot afford to ignore.
