Brandon Greenberg, President of Greenberg Partners, began working with Shipkevich PLLC as a Preferred Consultant in August 2012. He has over twelve years of specialized regulatory experience, is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). Since 2000, Mr. Greenberg has been advising financial institutions, buy-side firms, and brokerage firms on regulatory compliance issues and assisting them with the program and project management associated with large regulatory initiatives.
Mr. Greenberg began his career at the US Treasury Department where he provided guidance to banks on how to comply with US sanctions regulations. Prior to the passage of the Dodd-Frank Act, Mr. Greenberg specialized in advising large financial institutions on how to implement systems to comply with the US Patriot Act and is a recognized expert in the area of transaction monitoring.
Since the passage of the Dodd-Frank Act, Mr. Greenberg has advised a number of clients on the Act, including: two potential Swap Execution Facilities, the US branch of a leading UK bank, and a Top 3 US Global Bank, among others. His work has centered on translating the Dodd-Frank and Volcker Rule requirements into executable tasks and developing defensible approaches to compliance against complex rules. Furthermore, he has developed Volcker Rule implementation strategies for both US and foreign financial institutions.
